I think that it could be earned before the current event, because in the news post of the christmas event, it said something along the lines of "Oh em gee! It's back!".
The car could be earned before this event during the 2012 event but do you know how? :)

I believe it could be earned by doing a 300 race session in the 2012 Xmas event. I know this because I used to play on a different account on nitro type in that time and got the car but then my account got hacked and I lost everything, since then I wasn't that involved in nitro type as before, I used to be try hard. RIP!!! By the way I'm Shaikram.
