Ideas on How to Make this Great Game into a Fantastic Game

Things I Would Like to See For Nitrotype

Nitrotype is a fantastic video game and learning game.  Most of all it is a fun way to hone your typing skills and to fuel your competitive side at the same time.  The text in the races have been educational as well.  Believe it or not, I have learned a thing or two while typing in this terrific game.  After playing it for a while, these are some these are some personal things I would like to see for one of our online games.

1.       A countdown clock to show the time you have until your current race session ends.  Nitro Type gives you 30 minutes to race before your session ends.  It would be nice to have one instead of having to use a stopwatch all the time that is less accurate.  Having an official clock is much better.

2.       Show exactly how your points for the season is calculated. I think it would be great to show exactly how score is calculated so players have something definitive to improve upon and to strive for when competing.

3.       Add more Wampus type competitor bots.  While it has been exciting to see the Wampus, it would refresh the game for many if there are other special cars to compete against.  Perhaps some give bonus nitros or others give extra XP.  Some can give different amounts of monetary rewards. However, there shouldn't be too much and the Wampus type bots should come occasionally so that it interesting to race them. If they came to often then the determination to beat them would be as high. 

5.       Add more metrics.  Many fans of Nitro Type are addicted to the statistics.  Add a few more such as speed over time and more breakdown of performance over time.
