Starting a New Team? - A Guide to Leading a Successful Team
A Guide to Leading a Successful Team
1. You have to show you are a good leader.
2. You have to invite people and make sure people know your team exists. You can do this by asking people to join your team in the news.
3. You have to be respectful to everyone.
4. Make sure everyone feels welcomed at the same time make sure they are active and race.
5. Answer questions members may have.
6. Point out people who have been extraordinary and make them officer.
7. Let people have a word when deciding officer.
8. Don't just promote someone to officer and ignore, actively check their stats and make sure they are active daily.
9. When you are deciding who is officer, look at how many races they do daily instead of how many races they have done for the team overall. Do this because if a member has been on the team longer, then they have an opportunity to do more races. This way you know if they officer will race consistently and is reliable.
10. When deciding officer, make sure they have good leadership skills and are respectful. If they are not respectful, then they should not be officer for leadership is an important factor in officers. However, members may also have great leadership skills so you should take them into consideration for officer too if they are active. Officers aren't just active and race a lot, they have to be a great leader. They have to be someone you could rely on. :)
11. You have to show that you are active too because your teammates will look up to you!
12. HAVE FAITH IN YOUR TEAM!
